Monday, August 27 the long awaited visit to our dentist finally happened! We gassed up and departed on a most awesome, inspiring, scenic, 4 hour drive over the Top of The World. (http://www.th.gov.bc.ca/coquihalla/index.htm) +
I won't post scenic photos as there are just too many!
You'll just have to do this drive yourselves!
After a quick snack in Chase we arrived at Don & Audrey's home by the Malakwa train stop. On the left is Audrey at her booth at the Crazy Creek Suspension Bridge and Hot Pools. (http://www.hellobc.com/activitylisting/4553156/crazy-creek-waterfalls-suspension-bridge-hot-pools.aspx)
Yes, we did go and soak for an hour or two! Then back to our YWAM home-away-from-home for a delicious Roast Rib diner and
some sweet fellowship by the fire.
That's Don basting the Ribs.

We think we might like to hike the West Coast Trail together someday!

I was showing John some of my favorite places in the World.
We actually discovered some new places and saw some new sights never before seen by me!
The Revelstoke Dam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Revelstoke_Dam): We wandered around here for about 1/2 hour marveling at Man's creative genius and how we reflect the Creator's Creative Genius!
The Summit Monument (http://cdnrail.railfan.net/RogersPass/RogersPasstext.htm): We (well actually one of us - it was raining + cold!) got out of the car to stretch and read the new (to me!) signs here. So much history!

The Spiral Tunnels (http://www.pc.gc.ca/pn-np/bc/yoho/natcul/natcul12.aspx): If you look closely enough you will see the locomotive coming out the tunnel in the middle and the back of the train going by behind the Fire Weed flowers. I've stopped here many times but have never seen that! The train is going in three directions at once!

The Golf Ball Hunters showing off their Haul! Doug & Anna Marie housed us and treated us like Royalty. What fun we had!
YCC to YUL I'll spare you the airport photos!
We're off to introduce John to some more of my Family, Friends and
marvelous country: Oh Canada!
