The last week ...

The visiting and traveling doesn't end ....

~ Thursday the 20th; Tina and all the family got together to share a meal with us. So good to see how the family has grown, changed and matured this last year. John really enjoyed getting to know them all!

Bellingham, WA; A good nights rest at a hotel and a stop at Trader Joe's for some supplies, saw us headed over to Mount Vernon. Our good YWAM buddies, Gord & Jen gave us their own bed and introduced us to our two month old YWAM GrandSon, Lucas.

~Saturday the 22nd; Early supper with Kelly to catch up and renew friendship with John's young Footsteps Ministry Team member. She is asking God to touch her and heal of a debilitating condition so she can go forth and minister his Love and Grace to others.

~ This weekend we visited with some very special folks at Fox island Church. Jackie found herself wishing for her tool box when we had lunch and spent the afternoon with Dave & Peggy and Dustin, Shawn and Rachel. The boys bedroom was stalled between demolition and renovation!

~Monday at Day Island Yacht Club; We posted the "for sale" sign on John's boathouse; now we wait! All in God's timing!
~Liz and Bill had us over to catch up and share some interesting conversation.
~What would a visit to Tacoma be without a stop in to see Edith? She regaled us with some good stories and some home preserves. Yumm!

~Tuesday saw us headed back to Canada. We detoured over to Bellevue to share lunch with our YWAM friend, Min. He told us wonderful stories of his recent outreach into Korea and China.

We met up with Laura and she showed us a heart breaking look at the homeless on W. Hastings St., the place she works, their new home, and a very nice eating establishment on W. Broadway called NAAM.

And back to Richard & JoAnne's in Chilliwack for two days of visiting and relaxing and packing. Kaylee turned 24 that week so we celebrated with a family supper and evening together.
