Help Wanted:

Help wanted:
English speaking Christian Teachers of Anything

Oppressive, murderous, corrupt government;
crushing poverty;
debilitating diseases;
 land mines and unexploded ordnance;
bad water;
inadequate food and housing;
insects;
poor education and health care;
more needs  than you can wrap your mind around.

Beautiful young people
whom God wants to have a better life knowing Him;
The real possibility of turning this country to Christ in one generation.

Positions now open.

No pay. Must be self- supporting.
The retirement plan is out of this world.

            You need to go somewhere, so you call a tuktuk, which is a 2 wheeled carriage attached to the back of a motorcycle. Think rickshaw tied to a Honda 125. Most times the tuktuk shows up somewhere near the time you requested. Your normal tuktuk driver is busy, so he sends another driver, who you notice only has one eye. Traffic here operates like a school of panicked fish, and you wonder how important depth perception could be. Some tuktuks have plastic side curtains, some don’t, so if it’s raining you may or may not get soaked. Sometimes the road is flooded, so when some big rich person vehicle comes at you going way too fast, you get drenched with muddy water.
            The store has what they have on any given day. If they don’t have it, you don’t get it. A bag of chips with a packaging date of less than 6 months ago is a find. Package labels are written in languages you don’t understand, or even recognize. You get ready to do a wash, and the electricity goes off. It could be off for 15 minutes, or 5 days; No way to know. The neighbor down the street has raked up all the garbage, empty Styrofoam containers and plastic bags, in the ditch and is now burning them, probably with a rat carcass or two added for good measure.
            Some friends who you know from the “old country” come to visit. You thoroughly enjoy a few days of the warmth and camaraderie of old friends and old stories. Then they leave and you realize how much you miss Canadian Tire, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s and Ross. You realize how many times in the last few days you’ve said “we don’t have that here.” There isn’t any good pizza or a decent cheeseburger. You have no idea if or when you will ever get to go back to the “old country” and realize you no longer have a home there to go back to. What are you going to do when your driver’s license expires? You get an email from your dentist reminding you it’s time for a checkup. Your dentist is 12,000 miles and 11 time zones away.
            You go to the student fellowship meeting Sunday morning and you talk to young adults who have experienced the redeeming love and transformation of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. They have given up their families, friends, and religious traditions for something better. You look them in the eyes and you see the love and power which will transform this nation. This is where the rubber meets the road. (Ask your grandfather what that means!)

If you think God can use you in any way in this country;
 ---> you are absolutely right.

Unlimited positions open.
Endless  opportunities  to serve.

“A person is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep,
in exchange for that which he cannot lose.”
